If you are interested, please take the time to sign up for an orientation below.

Volunteer Opportunities (more details )

  • Drivers:
    • Medical Transportation
    • Grocery shoppers
  • Transportation Desk (requires additional training in the FIA Office)
  • Friendly visitors/phone callers
  • Home Maintenance:                 
    • Rake Leaves
    • Change out light bulbs
  • Help in the office:
    • Clerical Assistance
  • Committees:
    • Assist Events                                                                               
    • Volunteer
    • Fund Raising
  • No minimal time commitment Volunteer when, where, and how
    often you choose
  • Anyone 18 or older can serve alone. For those under 18, adult supervision is requested
  • Complete a one-hour volunteer orientation session
  • Complete a volunteer application
    and 2 references forms (not family members).
  • Background check
  • Provide copies of  valid driver’s license, auto insurance card and have a safe driving record (if you wish to be a driver)
  • Appreciate the diversity of faith communities involved in Faith in Action
